On Friday June 19, 2015, a 42-foot pleasure craft struck a cliff face and sunk in the Tennessee River near mile marker 168. The vessel has at least 600 gallons of fuel on board and is causing a sheen in the river. Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) requested EPA assistance.On-Scene Coordinator (OSC) Brian Englert was deployed to the scene.
