The state Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) requested EPA to assess a number of orphan wells south of Grandfield, Oklahoma for Plugging and Abandonment (P&A). The wells have been reported leaking into the Red River.  OSC Enders and an EPA Team were mobilized to assess site conditions and provide assistance as needed.  The state later received Infrastructure funds and will address the P&A for the wells.  No further action by EPA is planned.
