The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) was notified of a residence in Los Lunas, NM where the recently deceased owner had left multiple drums and containers of unknown wastes on the property.  The initial NMED assessment confirmed deteriorated and leaking drums, small chemical containers, cylinders and five gallon buckets.   NMED contacted EPA to request assistance for assessment and cleanup.   OSC Enders and an EPA Team have mobilized to assess site conditions and begin cleanup operations.
