EPA initiated a Removal Site Evaluation at the Crossley Farm NPL Site in October 2006 at the request of the Remedial Project Manager, Roy Schrock. The results of the Removal Assessment revealed the presence of trichloroethylene (“TCE”) in sub-slab samples and indoor air at residential properties in the Area of Investigation with the potential for residential exposure to TCE vapor. The purpose of the proposed Removal Action is to construct indoor air mitigation systems at private residences which are impacted by the Site thereby eliminating direct exposure to TCE from the environment. The proposed Removal Action includes the post-construction monitoring of indoor air for one year following construction of the systems.
POLREPS for the Crossley Farm NPL Site - Removal Action will be posted under the documents section of this web site. All other available documents are posted on the Crossley Farms Superfund site webpage.
